National Night Day

Hello everyone,

This is an invitation for your participation to Ware’s first annual National Night Out. It will be held on Tuesday, August 7th, 2018 from 6:00 -8:00 pm at Grenville Park in the soccer field by the bandstand.

National Night Out (35th national anniversary) is a night of fun for families and children. It is an opportunity for kids to meet the Town’s public safety officials, learn about local programs, play games, eat, have fun. We are ask your help, and recognize that time is short as this is 2 weeks away. Public safety officers will be there with equipment.

We are hoping your organization – businesses, non-profits, institutions, committees, departments – will participate by sharing information and doing something fun for kids. This could be food, games, music, handouts. Whatever you want. A fun fest. Cornhole, Dog Officer Sampson, balloons, hot dogs, water, How to demonstrations, fire trucks, whiffle ball, smiles, whatever you want.

Please feel free to share this invitation with your peers and associates. Please get back to us as soon as possible, telling me you will be attending and preliminary thoughts on what you may do.

Please plan on setting up for 5:30 pm. Bring tables, tent, chairs and anything else to meet your needs and comfort for your set up/display. We will provide everyone a space.
